Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 September 2026
Score24 built Score24 – Live Sports Tracker as a free app. The service is provided by Score 24 AB (“Score24”, “we”) and is intended for use as is. This policy explains how the app handles information. If you use the app, you agree to this policy.
No account
The app has no sign-in. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number or other personal details to identify you. We do not build a Score24 user profile.
Live scores
To show live scores, fixtures, standings and statistics, the app requests data from our servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We do not use those requests to determine your location, and we do not store your IP address to identify or track you.
Data kept on your device
Favourite teams and leagues, sport selection and order, match alert preferences, appearance settings and cached scores and images are stored only in the app’s private storage. They are never uploaded to Score24. They are removed when you clear the app data or uninstall the app.
Push notifications
Match alerts use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Following a match with the bell, or starring a football or ice hockey team with favourite-team alerts on, subscribes the device to related notification topics. Google assigns an installation token so the alert can be delivered. That token does not identify you to Score24. Starred leagues are for in-app follow only and do not subscribe push topics.
The app needs notification permission to show alerts, may vibrate for them, and re-registers scheduled kick-off alerts after a restart. You can stop alerts by removing the bell or team favourites, switching alert types off under Notifications, or revoking notification permission in system settings.
Advertising, analytics and crash reports
The app uses Google services. These send technical data off the device to Google (a third party). Score24 does not sell this information.
Third-party service providers used by the app:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob (advertising)
- Google Analytics for Firebase (usage analytics)
- Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
Google AdMob shows ads. AdMob may use the device advertising identifier and IP address (approximate location, not GPS) to select, measure and protect ads, including personalised ads where permitted. We do not receive the advertising identifier.
Google Analytics for Firebase reports aggregate usage, such as app opens and screens viewed.
Firebase Crashlytics sends crash logs and diagnostics so we can fix faults.
The app itself does not use browser cookies. Google libraries may use device identifiers and similar storage. Google explains how it handles data for partners at:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Third-party links
Ads and in-app banners may open sites we do not operate, including in the system browser. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for them.
Your choices and deletion
You can:
- reset or limit your advertising ID in Android settings
- revoke notification permission
- uninstall the app to remove local data
To request deletion of data that may still be associated with your device, email support@score24.com. We will respond and explain what we can delete. We cannot delete advertising or analytics data that only Google holds; use Android advertising settings and Google’s tools for that.
If you have rights under EEA, United Kingdom or California law, contact us and we will respond accordingly.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe we have, and we will delete it.
Security
Data sent by the app uses encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
